It's not that politics is a bad thing, as it really isn't, inherently...
But there's a reason the saying goes that there are 2 things you shouldn't speak of in mixed company, and it's because they inevitably lead to problems.

On forums, it's flame wars.

Believe you me, even if you don't mean to, by the end of the first page, we'd have democrat vs republican flamefests over this, at the very least.

In the interest of keeping the forum civil, political and religious discussions are generally closed/deleted on sight.
